WELCOME VISITORS AND ART COLLECTORS!

Following Fine Art America guidelines, there will be 32 images featured on our home page at one time. They will be chosen from the best images submitted, based on their artistic merit, and will be rotated with the most recent on top. Each week one image will be chosen as the 'Image Of The Week', and will reside at the top of the homepage for that week. We will have monthly contests to choose our Group Logo. Starting new discussions in the group discussion area is not allowed. If you have an idea for a discussion please contact the administrator.

The All Colorado Group recognizes the beauty of our glorious state. The amazing variety of beautiful images you see on this group page represent a small sample of the group’s art, which includes photography, painting, mixed media, etc.. Colorado, which joined the union in 1876, is located in the Rocky Mountain region of the western United States. The state’s abundant and varied natural resources were originally used by and were home to Apache, Arapaho, Cheyenne, Pueblo, and Shoshone Native Americans; indigenous populations who lived in Colorado date back 12,000 years. In the 21st century, Colorado continues to rely on its natural resources as well as agriculture and tourism to sustain its economy. Colorado is famous as a land of sky-high mountains, verdant forests, torrential rivers, majestic rock formations and canyons, desert lands, prairies, azure blue skies, and abundant wildlife.

ARTISTS:
1. You are welcome to add up to two images per day.
2. The word, 'COLORADO' MUST be in the TITLE and/or DESCRIPTION (having it in your Keywords is not enough).
3. Any medium accepted - art, photography, digital art, quilting, etc.
4. No nudity or distasteful images - Decision of the administrator is final.
5. Photos MUST be taken in the state of Colorado, and Art must be of, or inspired by, a location or animal, etc. in Colorado. Describe the location.
6. Describe why you took the photo, what prompted your art, what the appeal is for you, etc. People love knowing those details!
7. Do not add your own discussion threads. If you have an idea for a new discussion please email me - I am very open to suggestions.

SEEN BELOW: Images of the Week for 4/14 - 4/20/24 honors go to Mary Benke for her pastel painting 'View From My Deck In Spring'. Mary lives in Loveland, Colorado. She likes to work in watercolor, pastel, oil, mixed media and alcohol inks. The beauty she finds in her everyday life constantly inspires her to create.
