J. D. Mc Campbell,built a little log church, back in the 1820's, it is said that it took him just over three months to build and at a cost of $115.00. He later served many years as its minister. The log church stood until this one was built in 1902. You will note that Cades Cove is one of those places tin Tennessee that you must visit for several reasons. One, to see bears, deer and other animals running free. Two, to visit one of another beautiful sites, Abrahms Falls not far from the little church. This photograph is available framed, in canvas or as a print.
